We all have a different set of measurements, even though we may use the same size pattern. Pre-fitting avoids disasters!

The Body Wrap is a "fiber skirt" and a "bustier" that can be wrapped around the form, when working with larger sizes and using a smaller form.

It gives you the versatility of creating at least four sizes from each size form.

You can pin the Body Wrap directly to your form on the base, or lay the body down on a table, to wrap and trim it first. It comes in a standard size that you can use with any size form.

#1- Stretch the side seam cover on the form, to just above the bust line.

Trim the excess fiber from the center back, so that the fiber ends meet.

Pin the fiber into the form at the center back.

Feather the top edges of the body wrap, by tapering the layers of fiber against the surface of the body.

TIP: Save the shoulder pads for last as they work best when slipped between the two covers.

This is your start point.

#2- Smooth the fiber against the form.
If some area of your body are hollow as with a sway back, remove some of the fiber to mirror that area.

Don't worry about mirroring a perfect body duplication, just fill in the areas that will need more than just a pad in order to match the measurement.

Start padding the bust line area by slipping the bust pad under the side seam body cover over the Body Wrap.

Reach under the cover and smooth the lines.

Measure your bust line and match it to the measurement of the form.

#3- Position the side back, stomach, and upper hip pads, under the cover as you stretch the cover over the pads and Body Wrap.

TIP: Trim and smooth the fiber at any area that may not need extra width.

Very small hips with a wide stomach work with the Body Wrap trimmed and tapered just below the upper hip area.

Reach under the cover and smooth the lines.

Measure your waist line and match it to the measurement of the form.

#4- Continue placing the pads between the cover and the Body Wrap as you stretch the cover down over the lower body area. (as you see in picture-step 4)

Reach under the cover and smooth the lines.

Measure your upper hip, placing the tape measure over your stomach area and match it to the measurement of the form.

#5- Slip the thigh pads under the cover while stretching the cover down to the bottom of your form.

Continue padding the back hip area.

Reach under the cover and smooth the lines.

Measure your hip line and match it to the measurement of the form.

#6- Reach under the cover and smooth the lines.

Before you re-take your horizontal and vertical measurements try something of your own on the form.

When you have matched your shape and measurements, proceed by stretching the princess line cover (2nd cover) over the form.

You are ready to start working.
